My new weekly radio show
The Boy Scout Recordings Radio Hour (also known as Thrifty, Brave & Clean) starts broadcasting on BrooklynRadio.Net, NYC's hippest new radio station, on Wednesday, September 17th, 2008. I will be hosting this show with occasional interruptions from side kick and label boss Tim "Love" Lee. Expect an eclectic set of tunes from the last 100 years: blues, 60s R&B,70s folk rock, and contemporary "New Folk" from the likes of Adam Green, Herman Dune and Jeffery Lewis. Listen out for occasional "At Home with Turner Cody" sessions, where New York's best musicians from the scene will get together to share a few drinks and jam out some of their favorite songs.
